This thread has gotten way more interesting since everyone quit talking about warranty issues.

You can find this same thread on about 4 different websites with the same people. Think I'll just stick with AR with the rest of the 3rd graders.

Sound’s like a pretty good plan to me. Do you think you can do it? I doubt it!

Another example of why the warranty is important. The speedo on my 2017 CVO Limited had condensation in it leaving a bunch of streaks running down the inside of the glass making it hard to read. Fully covered under warranty and replaced without issue. Its a known problem and there's a Service Bulletin on the speedo condensation issue.

That is like asking a four year old if they like candy...and then not giving it to them.

These things should be like cars, how often do you check the oil in your car or truck? Every 10k miles maybe, the trans level, every 30k maybe.
Heck, the trans level in some cars is fixed for life now. I wouldn't be surprised to see the dipstick go away in time. Most cars and trucks now have oil life monitors and tell one when to change the oil. With the advent of Driver Info Centers, it won't be long before we are able to see an electronic oil level on the screen.

My 2012 CTSV and 2017 Expedition don’t have trans dipsticks. Drives me nuts
