Excellent decision! Beware you show the first symptoms of being attracted by a touring bike in the next few years. 😉

Thanks I'll check those out. I would like to maybe do the lower fairings someday, but that's more money. I'll have to save uio for them. Lol

I replaced my stock shield with the LRS 18" recurve and reduced buffeting by quite a bit. Have you tried a different size?

I understand the fangs work well, but swapping windshields produced enough improvement that I'll hold off on installing them until winter sets in. That's when maximum insulation is needed around here.

Yes. I went with HD because they were readily available and I like the bar and shield cut-out towards the bottom.

I tried a 16" Harley windshield and it was worse, maybe because there was no air coming over the top hitting me to counter the updraft. I haven't tried a recurve on this bike but I liked the one I had on my EG. 10-4 on holding off until winter- I noticed an increase in heat on my lower legs. I ordered some cooling wings today from DK, going to try running those by themselves until it cools off around here.

No way to measure but I notice more heat on my lower legs, not sure if that's the engine actually running hotter or just a result of less wind on the legs. The engine is shedding heat same as they always have right in front of the side covers, so not worried about it but see my post above about the cooling wings I'm going to try.

Fangs and backrest are the best comfy mods imo. Tho I do prefer the looks of JES fangs.

Good choice.

With the " MRA x-creen *TOUR* " on the windshild in addition you can go >140km/h for several hours.
