Does anyone or the OP that has done the same set up remember how much it was for labor? Just curious. I'm thinking about going with the same setup on mine SGS. On my 2016 I only did stage one and did all of the work myself. Thanks in advance.

If had it to do all over again. I would have bought my bike with the stock muff's, cat and headpipe. With the SE TQ cam, K&N Filter and the near worthless SE Tuner. A stage II deep thudding sleeper. Full of HD warranty.

I haven't done it yet, but getting close to pulling the trigger (coming up on the end of my 60 days to have everything covered under factory warranty). I did get a quote from my dealership and it included 8 hours of labor at $104 an hour (this includes installing stage I and II) totaling $832 for labor.

Check some other dealers, the stage 1 is just a high flow air cleaner and slip ons, the tune will be covered with the cam upgrade. The dealer sounds like they’re trying to charge book rate for both jobs. The stage 2 requires them to remove the air cleaner and pipes. Putting the air cleaner back on they can swap the element for a high flow and then they can put on the slip ons

Old thread but figured I would ask here rather than starting a new one. Hoping to finally upgrade to a M8 street glide and naturally thinking about stage 1 or 2 at the time of delivery. I assumed a full exhaust system was required for stage 2 (I have very little knowledge of engines but have learned a bit in the last 2 years since I bought my first HD). Obviously it’s not. Is there any real benefit to doing the entire SE Exhaust system? After hearing the OPs bike (which sounds great), I’m considering the same setup. I am planning on SE products for now to not worry about warranty and may consider change in a few years as I will likely keep this bike for many years to come. Thanks in advance.

you dont need to do the full exhaust system, slipons only works just fine. You'll get a little more power with the full exhaust but IMO, its to expensive to justify the little extra power.

I have the torque cam with slip ons, High flo AC and the tuner. Works great, I also did it before I took it home. You will love it.

I did the exact same thing. Really woke up the bike, and it remains under warranty.

Thanks Beerbar (mmm beer). Appreciate it and this is the route I am thinking:

-Slip ons (https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...18-64900552--1)
- End Caps (https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...06-65100078--1)
- High flow AC Kit (https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...18-29400246--1)
- Tuner

Edit: Plus torque cam possibly. I have cams in my current bike but I may wait and go aftermarket in 2 years.
