I replaced my SE Cannons on my 18 RGS with them because I wanted more sound, they definitely do that. No noticeable change in performance I can tell, although FM told me they do perform better than the cannons. FM also said the torque curve is slightly better with the db killers in place. I leave the db killers out because they kill the sound for me and the bike runs great without them, and sounds great.

Looking for some info on V & H Twin Slash mufflers. I don't noticed any difference in torque over stock mufflers, if anyone has them and noticed some difference, how much. Just curious?

Yes I wanted a black straight cut muffler and I don't think they make one.

not sure about those but my buddy put the Monster Rounds on his 17 Road King and they sound and perform great..he replaced his street canons with them and says no drop in overall performance..our Service manager says the MR's are the slip ons they have the best track record with fwiw

How I am with the Fuel Moto Jackpot Hi Rollers on the RK. Noticed no torque loss over the stocker's and the sound deepened as the miles grew.

seem to hear nothing but positive reviews from those, and they seem very reasonably priced

Maybe I might try a 2 into 1 like the Sport Glide has ,it'd probably fit mine.
Not into 2 into 1 sound though.
My bad if this thread is bagger specific.
Probably a little more complicated than that...

Flow velocity vs. volume, scavenging and energy waves, pumping loses etc. etc.

Perhaps useful reading material...
