Thank you all for your input on the pro street tuner. Everything that I could find on the internet said that it does not save the base map, I even talked to a person at the dealer and he was not sure if it would or not. The other turners , FP3, Power Vision etc. will save the base maps. I wonder when you load the software if you could download the base map off the Harley web site?

I just checked. For my bike, I looked up the available calibrations, and the stock as-issued calibration is not a choice. It starts with Stage I.

I spot-checked some others (FLHC, FLHX) and they all start with Stage I. None of them had any calibrations available that said anything like "stock". So no, I don't think the Pro Street Tuner can get you back to the original stock calibration.

I don't know. I haven't even hooked the computer up to the bike yet. Just did the factory Stage II download right now.

I don't know the software well enough to know if it'll pull in the existing calibration out of a bike. Hopefully someone else will know and will answer here.

In order to use the SEPST with Your computer. You must select a stage calibration and program it to the bike. The stock map cannot be seen because You cannot access that information with just the VCI. Must program a calibration (map) to be able to read or write to the bike.VCI marries to the bike during first program attempt.
Access to the stock map is not available.

it has been a decade since I asked the same question. over that time no one has been able to show what the stock tune looks like. NO, you cannot save it with HD products, There are some 3rd party tuners that did save it and you were able to restore the original tune. even then you could not view the settings.
I will say this, I am unaware of anyone who ever wanted to return to stock. The biggest offenders were the ones who tuned the bike, sold it and kept the tuner thinking they can use it on the new bike WRONG. It marries the first bike that the stage 1 is flashed to.

I just did the SE pro tune on my 18 Breakout yesterday. I can confirm it what others are saying. It does not save your original map.
