Default RGS Windshield with 10" Yaffee bars

I just got my 10" Yaffee bars installed on my RGS and I'm very pleased with them. One problem is that the brake and clutch reservoir hit the edge of Klockwerks 14" sport shield at full lock. I guess I could move them back a bit more but im pretty happy with where they are now and don't want to ruin the looks. I hate to lose the sport flare but now I'm shopping for most equivalent size and brand WS that won't interfere with the bars. I'm 6" 33" inseam with stock seat.

I have the same bars on an '18 RGS but am using the stock shield. No clearance issues there.

Have you looked at the long ride shield? I have that shield with 12" bars and no issues with clearance. Granted I have short arms and I've pulled mine back a bit, but they were not even close to hitting when they were more forward.

Thanks..what size shield and tint? Good fitment? Looks like they have a decent sale going.
Any pics by chance?

I think its the 12' LRS stingray?...They only have two models..and I think the one that fits the Road Glide is the stingray.

Excellent fitment and quality. I think mine is the dark tint. I'm on the shorter side, so the top of the shield for me is a tad to high for my line of sight. Especially since adding the CVO seat that lowered me about an inch, but I still love the shield.

Now I assume your bike pic in your sig isn't the RGS you're talking about, since that looks like a Street Glide. lol

Thanks Teedoff..that's a good looking WS. Think I'll give it a try although my bars are pushed forward more for sure. I still don't see most bars would hit that shield based on its straight up profile.
Yeah..that's my old 08 FLHX. I need to change my profile pic

Looks like they also have a more squared off Thresher model.

Here you go. Bars pushed all the way to the left so the right side is as close to the shield as possible. You can see there's still about 6 more inches.
