While we have not yet tested the 475C with big bore & higher compression you will want to keep compression below 10.8:1, there are other aftermarket cams that are more suitable to 11:1 Stage 4 application. The WM8-408 would be a good candidate there.

I don’t know what thickness HD uses in their Stage 4 kits, but sometimes dropping a couple points of compression is as simple as changing to thicker head gaskets. If they are using .030 gaskets going to a.040 (10.8) or .045 (10.7) thickness gaskets would get your compression down to where the cam would work.

Default 114 cam test

Great job Jamie. I contacted you when you had just done 107 cam tests and told you I had had a 114 heritage and was hoping the stock head pipe and Rhinehart slip ons would work. And at the time you didn't think it would because of 1 5/8" I.D. at muffler gasket. But this now really looks good for my pipes setup. And by the way this pipe setup really works good with the stock AC and SEST stage 1. Now I just got to pick cam and get my vision tuner set up with you. And all that's needed for cam change and inner cam bearing change.

This is my first post in this great forum. Sitting here in the north part of Sweden and waiting for the spring and wondering about stage 4 cams.
I just bought a new Fatboy 114 anniversary denim blue with a Screamin Eagle Stage 4 kit with a Bassani Road Rage 3 and with a SE extreme air breather.
If you now waive the warranty then what do you think about replacing the SE8-515 cam against an S&S 550C cam or are there any other cams that's better? What I'm looking for is a little more torque at lower engine speeds.
Will Fuel Moto do some tests on stage 4 cams?

Thanks, I think so to because I really like the new look of the fatboy and with a stage four kit it will be a awesome bike.
Mostly, the premiere tour takes place in early April and the last trip in early October. The first and last trips are usually quite chilly . From June to mid August we have daylight 24 hours a day and it can be really nice summers up here.
A normal season I get about 6500 miles on the bike and the three latest summers I have been riding a Breakout -15 with a stage four kit.

Quick video of the 2018 H-D Fat Boy. Wood WM8-222 cam, FM air cleaner, Dynojet Power Vision, and a fresh set of Rinehart slip on mufflers. Gotta love that sound!
