2017 FLKR, I just changed the transmission oil and now the tube at the front of the trans is leaking oil on top of the trans cover, any ideas....
Thanks.

is it possible the clip holding the tube on isn't fitted right and leaking from some misting or something like that?

Absolutely no reason you should have fluid "on top of trans cover" unless you poured it on there.
Last time I had oil on my trans cover was from a blown base gasket on the rear cylinder. So if it's trans fluid and it's "on top of the trans cover" you got something else happening.

How did you determine the oil came from the tranny vent?
There is an oil line at the rear M8 head that, if leaked, may just show up on the tranny cover.
In order for the tranny to leak oil from its vent is either from over filling or from extreme heat...burn up heat.

Is the OP talking about the return hose for the oil cooled heads that looks like it is going to the top of the trans?
