Steve Cole's & $tonecold's Cam Testing

I wasn’t really happy with the sound. Fullsac offers what they call techmat for the CVO mufflers, you might check with them to see if the Techmats will work with the stock cans. I think that would make them sound much better. They weren’t hard to install, Fullsac has a step by step instructions with pictures showing how to install them. The power they made with the stock header without the cat was as good or better than any other system I have seen posted and the cost is much less.

Did I miss what tuner you used for this testing?
I have been contemplating a cam change on my M8 107. Looking at the graphs I would be pleased with the TTS 100. I have enjoyed the quiet factory pipes. Would I be giving up much by keeping the factory exhaust with this cam?
I guess the question is if I change the cam and add the tuner am I going to get reasonable results for the money?

You would lose some with the stock exhaust, but probably not as much as you think. The TTS 100 was very impressive at low rpm. If you’re looking to keep the pulling from idle up like the stock cam then it is what you want. It just makes much more power than the stock cam.

I cannot believe I somehow missed this thread when it started back in March. Double thanks to both you and Steve for all the great work. I have to shake my head when I think about the fact that there is no button on the motor that you push and the cams squirt out onto the floor, ready for the next set to go in. I am in awe.
Thanks again for sharing your time with the group.

The TTS MasterTune was used for tuning.

Thanks again, I appreciate your help and the work y'all put into this.
