Is the rdrs option worth getting?

 

I thought so. You'll get responses from luddites who will say its just another thing to fail, but I'm all in. Negotiated it for $500 when I bought my bike. TPMS and vehicle hold control are awesome. Hope I never need the other stuff, LOL.

 

Glad I got it, benefits are well worth it to me...if hadn’t i’d be thinking about it and regretting it

 

I’m sure it’s a good option but I keep thinking I have been riding for years and never had it. $1000 is just way to much money.

I thought that way too, and been riding most of my life. But as i get older my vision, sense of distances, speed, reflexes, skills diminishing, but my mind and throttle hand at times still think i’m 20😜🤪😎...traction control and cornering abs might just save my *** someday when I’m not on my A game cuz i ain’t perfect 100% of the time. And love tpms and hill hold assist surprised me that i would like and appreciate it. That and $1000 meant very little to me

 

TMPS alone is worth the money. I had a BMW with TMPS and had a rear tire pick up a bolt. Next thing I knew I had a great big red triangle on the dash and a warning telling me my rear tire had sudden pressure loss and was down to 18psi. This was in the curvy area of TN/ North Carolina. That early warning likely saved me from finding out the hard way and going down.

 

yup, all the features and functions of RDRS for $1000..I'll take that value all day every day over a Stage 1 or a bunch of farkle sparkles and it's not even close

 

This is one of those things that depends on the rider, I didn’t get it and I don’t really care, I’m sure it’s useful. Riding a motorcycle is pretty serious and requires you to be 100% on your A game, depending on electronics to get you out of a jam can backfire on you real fast.

 

Was riding with someone the other day who had it...he demonstrated stopped on an incline at a light...pretty neat
