Removed my new headers

Timberwolf2017, That brings up a good point. I’m still curious if dealers are mandated to search for it though. I know this would be very expensive, but could you by a new ECU? Have it programmed? My guess would be the dealer would have to help (and know) what you are Doing it for.
Its wild to hear all of these “warranty is voided now” comments. I 100% agree and believe you guys. But what’s weird is how many 2017 and 2018s with headers and tuners are being warrantied still. My uncle is one of them. He’s had something come apart 3 times in his 114. They’ve never said one word about a tuner, headers, or voiding a warranty. Kinda crazy how some dealers are choosing to turn there head still.

LOL thanks Dan D. Sadly thats exactly what I usually do. I try not to ever worry about the little things that may never be an issue. I think I'm safest to leave off the headers and go with a Harley tune to keep the best chance of warranty related things being fixed. But I plan on putting some serious miles on this bike and not worrying until I need to worry!

You could buy a new ECM and have it married to the bike. Expensive, but would take care of the issue permanently. You'd have to come up with some story on why you'd need a new ECM though. Aliens? Maybe your shifty neighbor stole it.
Once your warranty ran out, you could again have the FP3'd ECM married back to the bike and move on from there. A new ECM is like 355.
