19 Scorched Orange
Has anyone picked a new 2019 up in scorched orange and black denim? If so, can you post a pic?

Scorched orange limited

Nice, you will enjoy the 114" if you did not have before. Only needs the torque cam and tuner.
|
Awesome, thats the color I wanted also, either in the Limited or the RGU. Where did you purchase?

congrats nice ride

Nice one of the best colors they offer this year |
Beautiful bike, congratulations! |
I saw one at the local HD dealer on Saturday and we took outside in the sun light where the orange really pops.
If your a UT fan this your bike. ;-) Keep in mind when waxing them you don't want wax anywhere near the denim. |

Dig the color, but not the graphics. |

My dealer just told me that the Moco is having trouble with consistency on the scorched orange and that it will be a tough color to get till they get the issue straightened out. |
The color looks much nicer in person, the pics don't do it justice.

I am curious as to how it compares with the 2017 Laguna Orange.
Anyone know? |

It is a lot darker, indoors and outside under overcast skies it is pretty dark or "scorched". In the sunlight or under bright lighting it is a lot brighter. It is however Orange where as to me the Laguna has a lot more red tint than orange. Just my opinion, I had the 2012 Tequila sunrise and H-D orange, now that was orange. Oh and by the way I did buy one, not home yet doing the usual $3-4 k, in the shop before picking it up.

The street glide is by far a better looking color scheme than the ultra limited.

I was told the blk denim is decals. Anyone know for sure?

Nice bike, I heard when they came out with the "Denim" it needed a special cleaner. Have you had any issues, cleaning it from the gloss paint and then to the Denim? thanks, CSM-H

My dealer told me that all of the denim graphics are decals. Can I count on that to hold up for the life of the bike? Yes there is a gloss black pinstripe between the two that would prevent the edges from peeling. I’m concerned about scratches or chips. |
That was the only color I liked in the 19 lineup since orange is my favorite color but I don’t think it will look as good as the Laguna orange I already have so I will just hang tight for another year. |
h-dog.com in Greenville, SC has a Scorched Orange SGS on their website,

I have the new scorched orange and black denim street glide and I have been using Bug Slide on the whole thing, I haven't seen a problem with it doing anything bad to the denim.
|
Harley always seems to bring back the ugly duracell color combo every other year or so.

Another thread speaks to it as well. Haven't decided myself yet. Certainly don't want to scratch it to find out! :icon_bricks:
Scorched Orange and Denim Black- Paint Care |
Just saw a SGS today at the dealer picking up parts. Clean looking combo.
|
I remember Victory having a color - sunset nuclear orange or some thing like that - it was trimmed out in black, good looking bike but reminded me of "the great pumpkin Charlie brown" its a nice color / combo to look at but don't think I would want to own it, just like the amber whiskey faze...…..!
|
Got mine a few months ago. I really dig this color combo. I don't like it on all the bikes though. Saw it on the Fay Boy and the Fat Bob and it looked bad. Do love the RG, SG, and Breakout though.
