Sorry man.. It only REALLY sucks if they dont fix it permanently.. Right now its a royal pita and anxiety for you, which is completely understandable. Also the VERY reason we buy new. So we avoid that anxiety of " whats wrong" and the inconvenience of breaking down and missing seat time. Hope this goes well for you.

That is the million dollar question!! Especially on CVOs, which seems to be the worst effected (statistically speaking).

I have my eyes wide open looking for a 19 sump, with proof. Not taking anything away from the guys that have. If the 19 are fixed the MoCo needs to take care of all 17 and 18 that do. Period.

The 19 engines are redesigned and have larger oil return galley so oil gets out of the crankcase area and back into the pan faster, if I used the correct language...

Sorry to hear. I had really hoped my multiple sumping experiences were an anomaly. But clearly they were not. Sad to see so many guys added to the M8 engine sumping club. Unfortunately this club will have a growing membership of M8 owners that have no clue until its too late. Many of these M8 owners will be happy campers thinking their M8 is a wonderful engine.... right up to the point that its not!

I would be sick if I had a M8 5 years old and it sumps, knowing the MoCo didn't build it right and now I'm stuck with the bill. I do hope it's true the 19s have been fixed. But what about the 17 and 18 guys ?
