Agreed that stock sucks but I have an old tailbone issue. I ride in more comfort on my Corbin dual tour or Danny Gray Airhawk solo. Now the stock on the new bikes are much better than the older bikes but as mentioned, for the price of the bikes...

If I remember correctly, Mustang will give you a two week or 30 day trial period to try their seat out if you buy directly from them. If you don't like it return it for a refund and you don't have to worry about trying to sell it and lose money on it. Sorry I can't be more specific on the time frame, was a couple years ago when I spoke to them, but would definitely be worth a phone call.

I've got the stock seat on my '09 still. Nothing the matter with it at all, can ride for hours...

Said it once, will repeat x1000...three words = Mean City Cycles ( http://www.meancitycycles.com/ )

Call Allen...his crew will dial-in your seat & make it a happy a$$ ride for 1/3 of buying new.

I tried to convert my Hammock to a solo; Mean City said they couldn’t do it. Gave up at that point, assuming if they weren’t interested no one else would be.

Same here. I always got a new seat for every bike, because of course the foreign bikes' seats are usually terrible. I assumed I'd need new saddle for the Harley, but no. Once I acclimated to the stock saddle, it was fine, and the wife has no complaints, either. I'm glad I gave it some time to break in.

Agree! I bought a stock Street Glide seat to run around town on looks better. But I still use the stock RK seat with the black studs for the long rides.
