From mustang return policy:

All returns for reasons other than Mustang's defect or error are subject to a 20% restocking fee unless exchanged for an item of similar or greater value.

Call Allen...his crew will dial-in your seat & make it a happy a$$ ride for 1/3 of buying new.

stock seat pans have limitations on what can be done....i.e. moving one 'backwards'. My stock seat pans have plastic that 'curls up' underneath by the tailbone (dunno why) so no one could mod it to give (much) more leg room as I was looking for.

If more legroom isn't an issue (as it is for most taller riders), then the mod may work. OP is 6'1" with long legs.....so it might be a waste of $$

I just looked at their website, if you install the seat, you cannot return it.

Love Mustang. They use much better padding then HD and Mean City Cycles. The Mustang was hard for about 500 miles or so then started to soften up. Now after 10,000? AWESOME! Super comfortable, road to Milwaukee for the 115, 550 mile days and was super happy. great seats. I have the Summit which sets you back 1.75 inches from stock.

Wasted money on a Mean City, it sucked. Gave it to my brother and he said he doesnt like it all that much after 1100 miles in 2.5 days I didnt cheap out on Mean City either. It was a $500 mod. Oh well, never buy from them again. My Mustang is 1000 times better

factory seats seem cheezy material wise. I have a Lepera on my Sportster, it has held up great, my Stock seat on my Dyna seems to be "tearing" there is white upholstery sticking out of a small hole that inexplicably appeared.
