All dealers are not treated equally by the MOCO. The big dogs earned it, volume, hitting quotas, motorclothes, service surveys, P&A sales are among the primary reasons. Not likely many Northern dealers are getting 18 bikes at a time, their season is over. Other dealers are "taking" more than they can sell to leverage quotas. This is no different than the big dog auto/truck dealers. The relationship we all have with our dealers/service depts, and our level of loyalty are all we have otherwise my $100 is the same as everyone else's.

Bert’s H-D has swapped with Space Coast H-D after making a deal with me for this Road Glide Special. They tried to back out when Space Coast said they had an offer on it, so Bert got involved and I became the proud owner last Saturday. Needless to say, this week wasn’t about turkey for me. Bert’s still has a RG Ultra; give them a call and I’ll split the referral $$ with you. Great H-D dealer who cares about building the Harley family one bike at a time.

Mine will be here on the 17th of December.
Despite the availability I was able to get a good deal at the dealer. No prep/delivery fees and around 10% off sticker plus $13,500 on my 2014 SG with 40K miles which was about $5000 less than another dealer that walked away from my negotiation. I may have been able to do a better deal but this was a no BS negotiation, I told them what would make me buy it and they did it. That is a good business model if you ask me. I'll post pics when I get it home.
BTW, this is not discontinued so if you are looking for one and don't want to pay premium, wait a few months and they will start making them again.
