I ran MK45's with Woods 22x cam and canned map from Jaime at Fuel Moto on the Power Vision all last summer. Flat out the bike runs! Great response on the low end. I love the sound and growl without DB reducers in, but as mentioned above, you can notice a difference in performance when you insert the DB reducers to build that back pressure.

The Mk45 get better sounding as time goes on and after a couple thousand miles sound has improved a lot. I don't have the DB baffles as dealer never installed them, or they never came with bike.

Do the MK45's ship with the dB reducers installed or do you have to buy them separately?

My set came with them in the muffler but not bolted in, new in the box, when I sold them that's how I boxed them back up, just dropped them in and put some packing in the end to hold them in place.

Just as everyone has mentioned the dB reducers come with the pipes, but not installed. All it takes is two allen screws in each baffle to install. Very simple.

Thats exactly my experience with the MK45s. Very good performance with the DB reducers in. Take them out and its a very noticeable difference that you can tell just riding it.

Had mine installed a week after I bought the bike. When I did the 475 cam and FM headers, wow! World of difference. Tried to go the another brand on slip ons, just wasn't close in performance. So went back to the MK45's.
