Default S&S MK 45 Slip On Baffle Removal?

So I installed the S&S MK45 slip ons on my new '19 RGS and they look awesome. I am, however, not satisfied with the sound. I installed them without the DB killers hoping that I would get enough sound out of them but that wasn't the case. My question is, has anyone removed the main baffle from the S&S MK45s? And if yes, would I I sacrifice a noticeable amount of performance? I have not made any other modifications to the bike and don't expect to any time soon.
Before this bike, I had a '16 RGS with un baffled 3.5 V&H slip ons and it sounded nice. Loud enough but not obnoxious, and that's what I'm hoping to get now.

I've ripped out every pair of baffles I've ever had in an exhaust system except for a Thunderheader. yes you sacrifice "a little" but not enough to notice when you enjoy the sound.
You're never going to get the sound of a TC out of an M8, two different motors. If you change the cam you will get noticeable heartbeat improvement but since your not going to do that, rip em out if sound is what you want.

i want to note: I have a full Rinehart exhaust system and I didn't like the sound, too damn quite for me. I unbolted the baffles and road around for about 6 months like that but the pipes sounded "tinney" and I put them back in because I didn't';t care for it. yes it was louder but sounded too weird. I bought a Thunderheader and got exactly what I was looking for, deep throated sound and improvement in HP and TQ.

Just my 2 cents

I had the MK 45's installed this winter and also had the cat removed on the stock head pipe. If anything it borders on just about to loud with the decibel reducers in. Most that I ride with say they really like the sound.

If you staying within Warranty get the Stage 2 done. The new cam will bring the noise...
