They only charge $200 for the stock non-CVO mufflers. Shipping is about $30 each way. Kind of hard to get a good set of aftermarket mufflers for $260. I had no idea they charged that much for CVO mufflers, but if you do the CVO's yourself with the Techmat it will be about $280 with shipping. The CVO mod doesn't change the look of the muffler like the self installed cores on the non-CVO mufflers do and it doesn't look to be difficult to do.

 

Have not had one complaint using the 2 inc fullsac in CVO cores. Decatted and 22x woods just rite on long trips. Hard on throttle it barks.... they are simple to do what f you take your time . Done both the stockers and CVO.

 

I installed the CVO mufflers (without any modification), they are slightly louder and slightly deeper the the stock Ultra (Non CVO) exhaust.

So, any idea how much the sound will change going when going to the Fullsac 2.0 inch baffle?

 

I have the Fullsac MX header and the 2" baffle kit with wrap in my OEM CVO mufflers. I think it sounds pretty good.
There are many videos online showing you how to gut and the install the internals. The only tool you really need is Dremel tools.

 

Yes, installation looks pretty easy. I'm wondering about the sound with the stock head pipe and the Fullsac 2.00 baffles in the CVO mufflers.

 

Another option would be buy a set of fuel moto street outlaws, you would only be about $100 more and they would be ready to install when you get them. I dont have any experience with either but if I were going this route I personally would just get the street outlaws and be done, no cutting the stock cvo cans and risking messing something up and from what everyone says the street outlaws perform very well. Just an idea.
