Default Muller clutch slave

Just went from an 09 EGC to a 2019 Road Glide. The first thing I notice was the clutch pull and I didn’t like it. Now I‘m reading a lot about the Muller Hydro Clutch and AIM easy clutch.

1) If I have the Muller or the AIM installed will it void the Warranty ?
2) has anyone put some serious miles and/or been in some serious traffic back up and how did the Muller perform

As for #1 I would say yes. If you have clutch issues down the road and your dealership sees it, they may void your warranty.

1) They may deny any claim that can be directly contributed to the clutch slave - like a burnt up clutch. Doubt they would go so far as to void your entire power train warranty.

I am not familiar with the Muller or the AIM but I didn't like the feel or engagement point when I got my '17 Limited - I prefer to set the friction point where I like it.

You might want to try the Oberon clutch lever from Hogleverage. It's an adjustable lever that looks like it belongs on a Harley; it takes seconds to install; and it won't affect your warranty.

Gerry Paladino recommended it on his "ride like a pro" youtube videos.

Good luck with your bike.

After some time you'll get comfortable with the stock clutch, it took me about 30,000 miles, now I'm good. LOL

Yall are just weird. The clutch pull is different on the 17+ bikes, but whatever, I got used to it in 15 minutes.

I have the Muller on my 19 road glide. Have about 7500 miles on it and love it. The dealer did see it when they had to remove the oil deflector when doing the primary vent kit. The tech wrote it down on the service slip and the service writer advised that if I had to bring it back for warranty work related to the clutch I should put the old slave on before bringing it in. As for mileage and serious traffic backup, I was stuck in stop and go traffic for a major accident on my way to Kansas and it performed great.

I will add, I also bought a speed bleeder to add on the Muller unit to make clutch bleeding a snap when installing the unit and changing fluid in the future.

I have about 30K on the Aim I installed in my 17. I use it with the Oberon levers since I have small paws.

The clutch was only an issue for me in the stop and go traffic of the DC/NORVA region, that was the only reason I installed it and I can disengage with 1 finger now.

Love mine!
