I have one and I like it. I'd probably do it again if trying to decide whether or not to do it.

I’ve had a T max fan since they came out, great addition, get one. I used to not be able to hear mine but now that it’s a year old it seems to be getting louder, it runs when the engine gets to a certain temp, it runs even in the winter.

You can buy the fan for the FreeWheeler Trike from Gold Star for $143. That about $100 less than the Tmax, but you will have to remove the stock mount from your existing oil cooler. There have been a few on the forum that have done this. A little extra work, but if you're trying to save a few bucks, it would be worth it.
