Glade your ok bike can be fixed. I would sue the hell out of the deer.

I am glad OP is okay.



We can always publicly shame the deer on social media. It's the 2020 thing to do!

Thanks all, yes we are lucky I only jammed my thumb, the wife sore ribs and lots of bruises. Didn't see the deer until it jumped into us.

Glad you're both (you & miss) OK, Deer definitely suck , always on the watch for them & with fall harvest coming they're going to be committing harry karry 24hours a day

Deer as thick as thieves around here. My head is constantly on a swivel while riding, but I still don't see all of them in advance, sometimes I'm even with them before I manage to make them out. And I'm sure there are those that I never see at all.
If I have to meet one up close and personal I'll consider myself as fortunate as you and your wife if I escape with bumps, bruises, and a bike that can be fixed as you did. I've known riders that didn't make it through alive, and some who made it but are worse off for the experience. Glad you and your wife are ok!
