I am wishing I left my headpipe and cat alone. The heat didnt bother me but when the daughter was on the back it bothered her. I am gonna wait til the snow flies when people start their winter projects and see what hits the classified ads. We all change exhaust at one point or another. Someone on the forum will be ready to get rid of something I didnt know I needed.

I only noticed an ever so slight drop in low end torque with the old lady only the back and saddle bags loaded.

What mufflers are you running?
Surprised you don’t have a large loss of low end.

Wonder how the Big City Thunder baffles would work in this type of situation???

S&S 4” Slash Down. It’s almost unnoticeable by myself. Keep in mind this I have the stock head-pipe with factory cats for back pressure.

This thread makes me glad I left the stock header alone when I did the torque cam. Most of the shops around me would only recommend a limited number of header/muffler combinations without saying I would loose low end. I am running 4" grand nationals and have no popping, strange noises or performance loss.

I may be interested in a black Sidewinder 2-1 if anyone has one of them laying around. That would cure my problem as well.

Unless your at the track running between 4-6k your better off with the stock head pipe.

I've got a stock head pipe with the cat in it. PM me. I'm sure we can work something out.

For $30.00 maybe you should try thunder torque inserts, they made all the difference in my v&h 450 destroyers.

I took the packing out and added TTI's, good sound and no loss in bottom end torque.
