If you want the M8 to sound off to it’s potential it’s not mufflers you should be looking at.... It’s the cam! Once you drop a good cam in then you can start getting the sound you want out of different mufflers.

If the sound is that important to you that you're willing to drop $2000+ on upgrading your cam (cam, lifters, rods, labor).
A cam upgrade to me is about performance, not the sound that comes out of the pipes. That's just a byproduct.
Plus, if you want a good sounding cam, you gotta go aftermarket, and that will have consequences for your drivetrain warranty.
Not sure just sound is worth all that.

It was 110% worth it to me, I went through 8 sets of slip ons chasing sound on two different M8’s, truth be told I probably would have been happy with the first set of mufflers I bought if it had a good cam in it. I understand warranty is a concern for some but I’m of the mind set that this is my bike and I’m gonna do what makes me happy to it.

believe me, I know...way too many boats, muscle cars, motorcycles and even a stupid RV trailer that we never used......if I hadn't spent so much on all that stuff I could probably afford to buy one share of GameStop stock right now!!!!

Hallelujah, brother. We can have both, no matter how much it costs us!

Truth in that. When I put the 465C cam in there was a major difference in sound. I have the normal baffles in so it is not to loud. But the cam sure changed the tone.
