Insurance rate increase?

Insurance rate increase?
Just wondering IF something is going on with motorcycle insurance rates that I'm not aware of. I just got my renewal notice (from Allstate) and my new premium has increased more than $300/yr. and on a policy that last year was about $350 in full. I know that there are a lot of variable factors in underwriting but since nothing has changed from last year I'm wondering if the industry is just raising prices overall? (no claims, no tickets...no nothing)......my agent had no answers, which was upsetting.
Obviously, I began pricing around and both Progressive and State Farm (State Farm insures my home and 2 cars) had the best rates, so I'll be switching.
Just wondering if others are getting big increases like I experienced?

I've never had any insurance go down. Even if you never make a claim, it'll still go up to compensate for the others that do because the insurance company isn't going to lose any money.
Years ago, I had a company cancel my shovelhead insurance after a year or two, saying it was too big. I said..."well it didn't grow. It was that size last year." Either way...

Was with Geico for years then they raised my rates slowly...so went with State Farm and they did same..now back to Geico...had 32k damage from the last hurricane and my home ins went up only 180.00 for next year...insurance rates are also tied to your credit score,so if anything changed that could’ve triggered a rate increase

You should look at carriers which don't write home and auto, but specialize in motorsports. This will alleviate the company's requirement to recoup from natural disasters.
