Better check that. My policy is up for renewal this month. I just called them for the new quote. They answered the phone "Progressive Insurance, Harley-Davidson Division".

Maybe it's a regional thing. The contact number on my policy is 800-776-4737.

Yeeeeeears ago when I bought my first 'new' Harley, I recall the sales guy bragging about how 'cheap' his insurance was on his bagger, like $200 a year or something.

As I got older, bought a house etc....I learned/realized he probably had very, very, very low limits- like liability of 25/50 versus 100/300.

Go too cheap and if you hurt someone in a wreck, get sued etc, it can wipe you out financially, and then some. Something to think about when trimming your premium down.

It sucks to pay more, but Lord forbid something occurs.....and you are found liable.

I use H-D Insurance for my '17 XL1200X. Pretty much everything is maxed out on the limits; deductibles set at $200. I pay $82.00 a month - a hell of a lot more insurance [and cheaper] than Progressive at $130 a month.

I have a copy of the insurance contract. Take a screenshot or picture of the portion you are ''citing."
