Are there any extra taxes or hassles importing a Canadian bike into USA?
There won't be any taxes on import because the bike was built in the US and the free trade agreement doesn't allow tax on any item built in North America. This is actually my dad's bike and I am selling it for him, he is selling it because he bought an FLHTC in 2009 and doesn't ride this one at all anymore, except for the odd little run here and there in the summer. When he bought the 09 FLHTC he flew down to the US to pick it up and rode it back to Canada and there were no taxes, the only thing he had to pay for was the inspection which was about $100 and the being a BC resident he had to pay the tax on registration, which you would have to pay on any vehicle or anything no matter where you bought it.
