Take your ad down for a week. Take new pictures. Adjust the price. Re-list new ad. See what happens. Could be just what one of your nibbles is waiting for.

I think you'll be lucky to get $6500. Realistically, I think you're going to end up in the $5500 range.
I have an 03 RKC with 100K plus..... It ain't going anywhere. I can't fathom what I'd even get for it.... $4500? Too little.

I'm thinking too that someone out there is ready to try a Harley for the first time but is frightened off by the new prices (with all the extras, I paid $28,000) and would rather gamble $8-9,000 to see if a Harley is for him/her. Hard to say.
A trike is also out of the question for me. I have to have 100% oxygen with me at all times, difficult (but doable) for a rider. Any exertion at all, even getting on or off, taxes my oxygen levels greatly. I'm being philosophical about this. I'm 75, rode since I was 20, and its been great and so the end has come. I'd like to get enough for this bike to pay for my final expenses and it should.

Thanks everyone for your input/opinion. You're likely right; maybe sell for the area of 6,500 to 7,000. I like the idea of dropping the price $500 per week until it sells. That might work.

Gonna be hard getting what the memories are worth. If they are bad memories and don't wanna look at it, $3500. Good memories and don't mind lookin at it for a while $5000. If you don't care if you sell it any time soon $6500.
I'm the kind of guy that waits forever to buy a bike. It has to be a steal. I wouldn't give it a second look. But for someone shopping a price range of a few hundred a month over a couple years your bike would fit. Paint is a huge deal. I own a '06 and the paint looks new. I've seen 2010's where the paint is all faded. If it is clean enough to eat off of people will assume you took care of it. Maintenance papers say the same thing.
Nice bike though.

I bought an '06 with 40k miles and shipped it 1500 miles for under $6000
it needed a few hours of work and a couple hundred bucks.
The 100k miles wouldn't scare me off, especially where you have service records...but it would most.
The reality is you're going to own the bike forever at $9000, if you really want/need to sell I think it's $5500-$6000

There is no way to evaluate the history of the bike and the memories of its owner. After nearly 55 years of riding, and the pain of not riding with my buddies now and then, I guess I shouldn't complain. It has been a great ride all in all.
By the way, if any of you smoke, STOP IT!

a friend of mine bought an 06 electra glide classic with 20,000 last summer and paid $7600. Another friend has an 06 street glide with 25000 mile and has had it for sale a little over a year with no luck . he has it listed at $9500. I would slowly drop the price $ 500.00 weekly until u start getting calls and see where you end up. provided you are not in a hurry to sell it.

Hope you start feeling better. Your bike is a gem, and although you've taken great care of it, the high mileage scares many people away. Suggestion...take a long look at other bikes similar to yours on the internet with the same miles and see what they are asking. Even go to other craigslist areas out of your area and check it out. Good luck to you, Sir!
