P'Cola, Hope that all of this feedback has not screwed up this ad and/or made you despondent. Harley stock was tanking midday today (5%) and the Feds are signaling a possible slowdown for 2019 from earlier projections. There is always people who say "gloom and doom" things and this is always a possibility but there are far too many factors for us to get a really good handle on the future with any certainty. Whenever I have sold a bike, I look at a bunch of Craigslist ads for my style of bike around Florida and this helps me get a sort of picture of what they are selling for in various parts of the State. I then try and price attractively if I am motivated to sell and remain flexible to offers.
In spite of all this unsolicited information, your Harley brothers and sisters really, really want you to be able to get a decent price for your scoot because we all are in a position where at one time or another, most of us have a scoot for sale and don't want to take less than we think is reasonable for our rides. Again, much good luck and I for one am going to stop blathering (thank goodness) and let you get a buyer for your beautiful ride because the weather is getting perfect in the Panhandle for riding. Much good luck with the sale and let us know when you have hit pay dirt!

Thank you
All your feedback is appreciated.
At this point I'd simply like an offer. But, I understand what you all have said. All made good sense.
Question: Is $20,000 likely to stir up any interest?

Anywhere from 2k miles to 6k miles. It's sad for the people who paid full pop at the dealer for them. Harley's a dieing market, none of the younger generation is buying them, hence why new sales are slow.

This Forum is not the place to sell; for all the bikes I've sold over the past 10 years, don't think I ever had even one inquiry on here. You can do a free 2-week ad on CYCLE TRADER, and almost all my sales have come from Craigslist ad responses. And, as others have mentioned, the Private Seller market is poor, to say the least..
