I've got an extremely well maintained 2005 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe (FLSTNI) with 17,122 miles on it (April 30, 2012) for sale. The bike is in great working condition and it's got a lot of extras that were added, giving it a unique look while maintaining the nostalgic look and feel of the Deluxe. The color is black pearl with dark red striping, but I'd personally consider it more of a dark metallic grey than black. I have always garage kept this bike and it's had all the regular scheduled maintenance. I keep this bike looking clean and it rides just as good as it looks. I'm the 3rd owner of this bike, my father was the second. He bought it used from a dealer outside Charlotte, NC and when he had to have both his knees replaced he had to sell it. Rather than see this gorgeous bike go, I sold the Dyna I had at the time and bought this from my dad. At that time it had around 11K miles on it and that was a couple of years ago. I'm at a point now where I have a 3 year old son and some other things have taken a priority in life, so I'm looking to sell the Harley to free up some cash to do other things. This bike has a ton of accessories, but the key was keeping it from looking too flashy or tacky. Most of the additions are Genuine Harley Davidson parts bought from the dealership. I just ha the bike inspected without any issues. You can definitely ride this bike with confidence for years to come.

That gives you a good idea just all that's gone into this bike. Many of the used Deluxes are going for what I'm asking and more, but few have these options and accessories. I have lots more photos if you are interested, or come by and take a look for yourself. Asking $12,500.

The bike does have the Harley flush mount gas tank caps with the LED indicator, but the indicator doesn't work quite right. The LED lights pretty much stay the same regardless of the gas level, and the fuel tank light comes on for about 20 miles after a fill up. I had it checked out at two different shops and both said these things tend to bug out, and there really wasn't anything you could do other than replace the caps. I just haven't done that, and have just kept an eye on the digital distance readout on the console between fill ups.
