That's a cool tip thanks for sharing!

The cool point that Harttoo mentioned is that you can toggle the "High Contrast" mode on and off by pressing and holding the info button. That is the really cool part. No going through the menu... just press and hold.

Yeah, this makes seeing the display during the day much better. This was a nice additional feature.

First off thanks for posting. I'm kinda curious, how did you find this? Doesn't seem like something you would just stumble on, I just tried it and you have to hold that info button in for awhile. And more importantly, why the heck isn't Harley telling us about things like this. I knew about the new contrast screen but didn't know you could access it so easily. Wonder how many other cool little features like this are hidden away in the system, you'd think the MoCo would promote something positive like this. Maybe we'll have to wait for the 2016 Boom Manual to find out...

Understood, I read the release but why didn't they tell us about the simple little access trick (the information button), why did it take a forum member to discover this? Not knocking the new screen, it's great it would have been nice to know it could be accessed so easily with just the push of a button. Thanks to Hartoo we now know that.
