Yea when I bought my 2015 Ultra limited the sirus xm icon was not grayed out but I never tried to use it at the dealer. I tried to use it when I got home and it turned grey. I called the dealer and they told me it was an $400 option. I'm assuming it doesn't turn grey until you try to use it if it's not installed. I can do without it.

 

I took the advise from another post on this and had the antenna installed on the top of the inside fairing. works awesome. is the only thing i listen to.

And this is why they're called "stealer-ships". It's becoming rampant with all Harley Dealers, commission driven employees are ruining the pride of owning Harley's anymore.

That is the pic. I am glad i put it there. the Harley dealer put it there after i showed them the pic. they were aware of the reception issues if put inside.

does anyone know if you can get weather map overlay on the GPS after adding XM or do you have to have CVO download

 

Weather and traffic are all all carte options from XM. Not just limited to the CVOs.
