XM Radio

I had my free trial with my new module last year that was supposed to end in September. They pleaded with me for a Credit card but I just said I'd call back before the date they told me if I wanted to keep it. Well Still going strong!!! I thought the last time in June when they did the Turn on for all radios, I'd be shut off, but still going. All services too...

I sure do miss it. I'll have to get the module for the bike and see if I can wheel and deal them for multiple service.

XM
I specifically asked my HD sales representative, TWICE....... "this Rushmore Limited infotainment system has GPS and XM?" Yes, yes.
It wasn't until after cutting the check that the wool was uncovered from my eyes. When the "demonstrator" was going over the basic functions of my purchase I asked, "do I get a 30 day trial period with the XM?" THEN........I was told, the head unit is compatible, but the module is an add-on. WTF! In hindsight, I should have made this a deal-breaker. I should not have taken delivery w/o an activated XM radio. It's not a good feeling to leave a dealership having felt deceived after forking over a huge amount of coin for a new bike.
IF....... I add it someday....... it will surely be DIY

Just make sure you have the very tiny (did I mention it was tiny) torx bit to remove the cover from the back of the info system to install the XM module. I had to run out to Autozone for the correct torx bit.
