Installed the Hogworkz lowers yesterday and went for a day ride with friends. The lowers look good, comparable to Harley in appearance, I thought the doors seemed a little flimsy, but seems fine once the lowers were installed on the bike. I'm going to keep looking for a replacement for the snap on covers, even if I could replace the plastic insert buttons that the cover snaps onto, they are just cheap and do not fasten well. Other than that, I can recommend the Hogworkz, very good alternative to MoCo, and a lot less expensive.

Nice installation and also the brake setup.

Now you need your highway pegs.

I subscribed to this thread months ago, finally scooped up some lower leg fairings from Fairing Factory. I used the eBay link previously posted on this thread. They arrived quicker than I thought.
The install was ok....just ok. The little bolt thru the top cover was a pain in the ***. The door covers seem cheap and I'm afraid how may open and closes it has in it's lifespan. The lower bracket connecting to the bottom of the crash bar was too small and also a bitch to clamp and line up.

That said, I paid $200 and they are spot on outside of the install crappiness. Once on, they look just like OEM and the thickness and function is the exact same. Paint is good.

If you wanna save...go with'm. They're good.

Also, I have the Softbrake +1 brake lever and it fits fine. Just so you know,...... it's not the +1 W (which is stated to be the only +1 that will fit with lowers). This one works fine.

Check out advanblack. Advanblack lower fairing review post has some pictures of the lowers. At under $300. With shipping not a bad savings from factory.

I spent the money for the quality factory parts. Did it day 1 so they're part of my warranty.

Hate to break it to you, the only warranty that you have on those lowers is the Harley parts warranty which is ONE-YEAR. Now if you're dealer that you bought the bike from warranties them along with the 2 year bike warranty, that is on them. But all parts installed at the dealer, no matter before or after the sale carries the P&A warranty.
