Ultra Low Seat
#3
I put 20K on mine last year and have to report that I would have benefited by putting a backrest on it, but, as for the seat I found it comfortable and offered a fair amount of back support on its own, my inseam is only 29", the stock seat does push you forward, so if you need to consider this.
I replaced the seat this spring with a Mustang Low Downer with a backrest, I am thinking now I could have saved a bunch just by adding a back rest to the original seat. I do have to add, after some 6K on the Mustang it is also a fine seat and I love the classic looks given by the black pearl studs around the parameter.

I know that you can modify the seat to gain at least an 1" as I had a fellow who works on seats look at it, as for keeping the seat, no I have no plans for it, like so many other things we modify on our bikes its sitting in the box the Mustang seat came in, in the basement, Part #5200013. I see you are in Hawaii not sure what the shipping cost would be the seats are rather large. But $175 plus the shipping and it would be yours.

I have the Limited Low. Also, 5' 8". At first, going from a standard Mustang seat to this one was a bit of an adjustment. I like being more flat footed but my boys get squished at times. Did a 1500 mile ride and I added the backrest. It was good. Thought about changing seats to the Danny Gray but no place for a backrest. I will keep what I have.
So far so good for me.

The stock seat on my Limited Low gives me what another forum member aptly described as a "reverse wedgie". I love the seat for around town but for longer rides I have a stock Limited seat that's a HUGE improvement.
