Default Air Cleaner cover replacement.

Hello all,

I have used a bunch of items to customize my Firefighter Edition Street Glide. (2014) If you look at the cover for the air cleaner, it has a fire bell sort of shape. I am considering using an old fire bell for a replacement cover. I am wondering if that might cause me any issues? I am not going to change to air filter or any other parts of the intake. I would mount the fire bell just like the stock cover is mounted.

Do any of you folks out there think that this would cause any issues with decreased air flow?

Thanks in advance.

Here is a photo of the bike:

You would need a stage 1 intake or similar to use it. Pretty cool idea, good luck with project.

Great idea, but I'd be concerned with the weight. As I recall, that's a pretty heavy piece. I'd also cut the bottom out to allow some airflow. Make sure you can support the weight.

Below is HD 29153-07 air cleaner cover, mounted on a DK Customs breather. Maybe research that part number if you like the look, paint red. It fits a 2017 Softtail Slim.
