Default locking the backrest and rack to the bike?

i know harley makes locks for these items but is there any other way to make sure these items do not get stolen when away from your bike?

Why not just use the Harley quick detach locks and be done with it. They are secure an unobtrusive. I use them and have no issues with them.

you only need one BUT you are forced to buy a 2 pack.. I don't know where you are in NJ but I have one available from the 2 pack kit I had to buy.

it is one locking latch, the washer, the long key and directions.. I want 1/2 of what I paid with tax so $39.72 will buy it if you are interested.

didn't list it here yet because I gave members of my site first dibs and intend to list this weekend on here.. if you are interested let me know

Harley and others have some good theft deterrents. But if someone wants your stuff bad enough, they're going to get it. Just equip and employ a simple device like above and don't worry about it.

I just bought these off eBay. Works very well and are made very well. Cheaper than the Brukus model.

Too bad we can't get these keyed alike to our bikes so the fork locks, bags, disc brake rotorlock, tourpak, and these locks all use same key

Yes, unless someone has a torx set in their truck/car/bike. Just sayin.. I don't lock mine, I figure if someone want's the TP or backrest, bad enough, they'll take the whole damned bike....

But I've always lived by one motto,, "Locks just keep honest people honest,,,,,"
