Go to harbor freight or something similar and get some easy outs. Drill hole in center of broken bolt and use the easy out. Won't hurt the threads. Just take your time.

You might have to tap the threads too, when you get the broken one out. Just have to see, once extracted.

A trick a machinist shared with me years ago has saved me a couple of times. Since you have to drill it anyway, buy a Left Hand drill bit. Put the drill in reverse and carefully start drilling. Usually 90% of the time the bit will bite into the bolt and screw right out as you drill.

Any good industrial bolt store will have them in stock.

Regardless if you use a LH drill or eazy out....Take a file and file the end flat. Then center punch the center of the bolt before trying to drill it out. Otherwise the drill will just walk off center and you'll end up drilling the brass insert.

Kind of had same problem, different bolt on my bike, , center punch it, like stated above, then used a small bit, then gradually using a larger bit, without hitting threads, then an easy out ,then tap ,to clean up the debris in threads, worked for me, good luck, take your time

file flat and then center punch. heat bolt with something hot, soldering iron or plumbers torch and apply some candle wax to itand let it wick in. don't get it to hot, you don't want more problems. LH drill bit is the next move here. after it's out, take a tap and grind it flat making a bottom tap out of it. run it in a few times to straighten the trhead out if they need it. good luck
