Had em on my Road King and I've got em and the Kury between the fork deflector on my Street Glide. Wouldn't ride without em, cheapest and best mod I've made, they totally transform the ride.

Bought a set cheap from a forum member, just can’t bring myself to install them.

Now that winter’s here maybe I’ll give ‘em a shot. I understand they serve a purpose; just never have gotten past the look. You’d think at my age the self image would be a bit more realistic...

eglidegoodies.com lists in the fine print at bottom of page in fitment guide that the W46 model will NOT fit bikes equipped with fairing lowers.

First mod I made with recurve from LRS and the triple tree dish. Solved all buffeting. Put lowers on and pulled the fangs, fangs quickly went back on. I used the HD model fangs, required a slight bend to clearance lowers, works great.

"slight bend" ? Meaning that you bent them OUTWARD, AWAY from the lowers?

That's the way I did it on my 2007 Ultra with lowers. I haven't put them on my Rushmore Ultra Classic 2015 yet. I know the way the lowers fit now, I could not use the highway peg mounts from my previous Road King, so I was worried that the lowers on the 2015 would prevent a fit. Maybe that slight bend will work even with the Rushmore models too.

Do they keep the wind from coming up the sides of the tank? That's the only real problem I have with winter riding

Correct, away from the lowers. Full turns would contact. I took the fangs off, layed the length on my wooden work bench, used simple body weight to bend maybe a few degrees and this was enough to clearance. Mine is a 2013 so should be close to the Rushmore

I have 2015 SG and went with JESCustomAccents fork wind deflectors. Work well but aren't the prettiest.

I put my fangs on 3 years ago and never looked back. I do experience beard lift and air coming up by the tank, but it's much better.
