How do the freedom shields size compare to the LRS shields, i ride with a 9" LRS recurve, Have a 10" also , but the 9 " seems to lift the air up better, So, Is the angle close to LRS, and i would want a 9" Freedom shield ?, I would like a little more up floww, and less side winds myself too

Call John at Freedom and tell him exactly what you told us.

The quality on the Freedom is much better then the LRS, polished edges, crystal clear, and it's much thicker too.
The LRS makes a nice WS for the money, I had a few that were distorted (blurry) at the cures though, still a nice unit.

Call John at Freedom and he will steer you in the right direction.

This has been my experience as well. And that's not a slight to LRS. I liked the LRS shield I had. They make a very good shield that is at least comparable to the stuff HD sells. But the freedom shields are at the top of the food chain. More money, but you get what you pay for. And John is an awesome dude. he knows what customer service is all about. Highly recommend.

Appreciate all the positive feedback on the Freedom Shields. I have already bought an LRS shield for my new SG, based on my very favorable experience with one of their Road King shields. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet (or even install it) but if it turns out to be less than satisfactory I will be checking out Freedom Shields.

Bob, IIRC you went with a 9" shield on yours? I am 6'1" and fairly long of torso so that height would probably work well for me too.

The 9" would probably work well for you. I'm 5'11" and run a 7" FS on my ride.

Can I ask how tall are you? I'm 6'2" and leaning towards the 8".

On my 2015 FLHTCU, I have a 9", I am 5'10", 32 inseam, and my eyes are right at the top edge, normally when I ride I am looking over the shield with no issues.
