Default Camshaft talk.... AGAIN

2016 Road Glide, 103 HO. Already has Rinehart exhaust system from heads all the way out and VH Fuel Pak 3 tuner. I would like to make a cam change and have been looking at every cam manufacturer there is, my question is this, will the Screaming Eagle 259E cam bolt in my engine without head work or does this cam have too much lift??? I really don't want to pull the heads. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again everyone.

The SE259e needs valve springs, too.

https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...9e-efi-cam-kit

"For use on ’11-’15 103CI and 110CI Touring and Trike models. Installation requires separate purchase of Performance Valve Spring Kit P/N 18013-03A. All models require ECM calibration for proper installation. Labor cost not included. See Dealer for details."

Cycle rama.. tts... andrews... woods.... s&s. Better choices out there than harley cams. The only one that constantly gets good reviews is the 204's. In the 103 with longer rockers they work well. I would look harder at your other options.

This^^^^^^ I believe the 259’s are more for mid to high rpm’s anyway. Not good for baggers with stock compression. For a stage 2 only, Cyclerama 570-2 are the current king, followed by Woods 222’s and Andrews 48’s.

If I were in your boots, I would talk to Wes at CR, (as already mentioned) Kirby at VeeTwin Racing, and Doc @ Doc's Performance Shop.

Top notch builders, And the very Best Tuner around!

Also ditch that VP3 too.
