Don't know anything about it but,
Doesn't look like the link is showing up, search fb for Jeff Meador in South Roxana, IL. He's got a 16 that he's been trying to sell.

Facebook Post

I just moved from a 03 Super Glide to a 17 RGS and it's quite a JUMP.....

I have no problem walking away.

And I have thought of a new one. I do have one of those $1500 rebate coupons. About how much off list could I expect?

This began as a quest for just a bigger bike.
I was quoted that coupon and an additional $1500 off bring the OTD price to around 21K for me. This was for a vivid black with the Premium Boom but no ABS or Security

The "build one" option on the HD site lists that at $22094. That doesn't sound right for an OTD price. Is freight and prep that much?

Of course location affects price. Big problem is youre looking at dealers. Do private and know exactly what youre getting and save the bs. I can tell u here in So Cal where baggers are hot and sell, that last year when looking for a bagger to complement my Low Rider S, I almost grabbed a 16 RG with bars, air cleaner, exhaust and tune, 1 owner w 2k wanted 16.5.

I passed on it, because I really wanted a Street Glide and grabbed a 16, 1 owner bone stock w 2k for 15.5, n made it mine. If those deals pop in So Cal, they have to be around u.

And yes, youll love a bagger.

I always get ESP. It can/will pay for itself, sometimes very quickly.

That price is on the high side, unless they are giving you some big bucks on your trade. When shopping, take that all into consideration.. look at bottom line, or the amount to be financed. That’s the Bestway to compare.

On that note, I bought my 15 new, about a month after the 16’s hit the floor. I got mine for $18500, and still got the brat trade vale anywhere. Only financed $11K.

keep us posted on your findings. I know I am a little late to the thread here, but at this point the $1500 off deal was over June 30

Did you raise the fairing up? Looks high.

Well the coupon and another $1500 off. The freight/prep is about a grand. The lack of ABS and security also brought the price down. In the end I stuck with my SGS but I was very tempted.

You must be looking at Doc's. Try a trip out west to St. Charles Harley; ask for Daron Shanks. Tell them Jeff sent you. Daron will hook you up!

Whatever you choose make sure it has ABS. That worth the upgrade to the Special by itself.
