Moving from a Dyna to a Road Glide...I hope
Hey everyone.
If the numbers work out, I'll be buying a 2016 Road Glide in the near future. I'm currently riding a Wide Glide and before that a Superglide.
It has only 2400 miles on it, and has only a few add-ons. They are asking $18.9K and claiming that is near bottom line. It's smack in the middle between NADA and KBB.
They're going to be pushing for an extend warranty. Are those needed on a model this new? I don't normally wrench my own vehicles any more.
Another possibility I suppose is new. I'm not against that, but don't want to break the bank. Is the newer model a big step up and worth it?
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Forget KBB. It's not even used by any dealers or banks. NADA is what they use. And NADA says that the average retail price on that bike is $17,695. They are WAY over at the asking price of almost $19,000. Tell them that if that really is near their "bottom line", then you aren't responsible for them giving a too high trading in price to the previous owner....it's their bad decision and YOU won't be held hostage to it.
Offer them $17,000 with the extended warranty thrown in the deal. If they should BALK, them you should WALK!
