Default Budget Catch Can

Finally did the breather bypass on my 16 Ultra after 10000 miles. Used a small Excedrin bottle for the can. Went for a 25 mile hard blast up the highway and back to induce puking, but the bottle was bone dry afterwards. How often are you guys emptying your bottles err I mean cans?

Empty mine around 500 to 700 miles; not much in there even then.

I can't tell from the photos, but did you vent your catch bottle can? FWIW, I didn't use a catch can.

How much oil are you guys puking? When I clean my filter it has a little bit of oil on it, but not problem amounts,is it more because of aggressive driving?

Ok I am glad to hear not much gunk comes out too fast. I was expecting more. I did drill 6 really small holes in cap so it does vent well. Thank you for the replies.

I just run mine to the ground and have little to no oil on the floor.
IMO if it leaks so bad you need a catch can then you got other problems to address.

So what is the benefit of venting out rather than the factory setup

sending oil and other vapor to the intake valves and sensitive electrical sensors is frowned upon by some.
