Yes, the alarm system that is used on my 16’ allows the bike to have it’s programming changed. I had the dealership flash the bike with the CVO ignition load. This makes the physical switch nule except to lock the steering. With the Fob, I can walk up to the bike and press the trip/odemeter switch to access acc mod or press the run/stop switch to power the bike like the switch does when put to iginition. Once that flash is loaded, the switch itself can be unplugged and completely removed with no issues.
