I'm in the New Haven area and I ride every day. Now I'm mostly solo because I fell off the grid for a couple of years and lost touch with the group of riders I used to roll with on the regular. Some routes I tend to ride a lot up the shoreline on Rt 146, Rt 67/63 into Waterbury, up thru Kent and Goshen, Winsted.... Basically all over the state. I love the Hudson Valley NY area and found it to be the best riding/scenery so far. Only rode up there twice but Cold Springs, West Point, Bear Mt is great... I am always down to ride, so feel free to PM me anytime...

Just wonderin'….
For many years, riders would gather at the old Marcus Dairy parking lot on Sunday mornings.
But Marcus closed the dairy (and the Dairy Bar), and the place got torn down and now there's a Whole Foods market there.
Is there a new "Sunday morning place" in western Connecticut where riders congregate now?

Some riders do gather now at the old Marcus dairy and at the Starbucks on Mill Plain Rd close to the NY border. The groups aren't as big and as the old Marcus and it seems there are more crouch rockets than cruisers. There is a Whole Foods and Paneras there. Starbucks has a good mix, but mostly cruisers. There is (of course) a Starbucks and a desert moon cafe there.
