Oh yeah. Rt7 is in pretty good shape. Made it all the way up to Canaan. Road work on Rt4 right off Rt7. Paving is done but they were working on the roadside. Looks like they are going to start paving R7 were they left off. They are raising the catch basins. Rt7 is still the best ride in Connecticut. From the City, you could take Rt7 up to Rt63, go south on Rt63 to Rt202 in Litchfield. Then take Rt202 west ( a right at the light ) back to Rt7 in New Milford. Very nice. Kind of the way I went today.

Rte 44 between Norfolk and the NY line is beautiful as well....you can work some of that in at the end of Rte 7 and then take NY Rte 22 S for a while.
What a great week for riding overall....just got back from Laconia....the weather was phenomenal...'cept for sweltering in the traffic around Weirs Beach.

The parts dept is one of the few things I like about Danbury... the parts guys seem knowledgeable and have always done right by me.... just expect to pay full retail...

Foliage
Anyone have a favorite Foliage Loop good for a group from the New Haven area? I'm always taking the same roads and looking for something new.
Last Saturday I did a Loop from Derby:
Rt34N to Stoney Creek
Glen Rd to R Rd No.1 to Main St Southbury
Main St to 172N to 67N
67N to 317E
317 to 6S to 64E
64 to 188E to 63S
63 to 68E all the way to Middlbury.
After the Tilcon gravel pit left on 157, then quick left up Powder Hill Rd and down to Lyman's Apple Barrel.
It was nice, great color, but I'd like to try something different in a couple of weeks.
Anyone want to share their colorful route?
Thanks,
Scoop
