Default Red Line Transmission Oil Question...

I purchased Red Line RED42804 V-Twin Transmission Oil on November 8, 2013 and never used it and it's still sealed. Can I use it now? Is there an expiry date for oils?

Even if it was opened I’d use it. Only thing I wouldn’t use would be open brake fluid, mines DOT 5, and it absorbs moisture.

Unless you opened it, used in motor, poured back in jugs and resealed...you're good.

You were right about it...

Here is a response from Redline:

Thank you for contacting Red Line Oil, our products don’t have a shelf life, the V-Twin Transmission Oil would be suitable for use.
With the ShockProof gear oils it is advisable to shake them before use.

Regards,

If I was using Redline tranny fluid, how long can the bike sit before I have to shake it before I use it?

Just wondering?
