The oil itself will stay "good" for a very long time; but it's the particles in the oil that wear the engine...mainly carbon from the burnt gas..that is why you need regular changes.
I have it some place at the office I値l look for it Monday. The report was good checked for all kinds of metals in the oil by ppm I think it was a few years ago. A friend and fellow rider had a fit that I went 6500 without changing it. He痴 a every 3000 mobile 1 guy.

This may not pertain to our touring bikes as much as race cars, but Red Line dyno tests showed a small HP gain. When you racing a couple HP may make a difference. It is good oil as well. AMsoil is good oil also. Hell if you change dino oil after every few long rides, it;s good.
