I am due for my 10k which means primary as well. I was looking at Amsoils change kit because I can get it for around 80.00 for the engine oil. However, I have since some across Maxima Racing oils which is the same price and comes with Trans fluid and almost the right amount of Primary fluid(Its 6 ounces shy, I would need another bottle.) However, my hesitation is that I have never heard of Maxima. I normally use Royal Purple, but they dont have this kit. The Maxima comes with a K&N oil filter with the nut, the Amsoil comes with theirs and Ill have to buy their wrench for $3.00..........Is maxima on the same level as RP and Amsoil??????

 

Maxima is fine oil. High quality stuff.

 

Lots of folks use Red Line Oil for the tranny including me. Maybe you could use Amsoil for the engine and primary?

 

Get the Amsoil kit. It is the best.

 

I found a deal on RP./k&n.....90 bucks. Amsoil was 106 through their site as I needed 2 extra quarts for the primary
